What You'll Contribute to OHM Advisors.
The successful candidate will have the opportunity to lead a multi-disciplinary team of engineers, planners, and technicians on transportation and municipal projects. Project engineering responsibilities include infrastructure design, preparation of construction documents, cost estimating, and thorough project QA/QC. Project Management duties include developing and managing the project scope, schedule, and budget; and delivering an overall quality project to our clients. Collaboration with a team of engineers and mentoring of entry-level staff will be essential.
Your Responsibilities:
Ability to manage multi-discipline engineering projects
Developing and maintaining project scope, schedule, and budget
ODOT and municipal projects involving roadway rehabilitation/reconstruction, infrastructure design, and pedestrian/bicycle facilities experience
Understanding of State, Local, and Federal funding programs
Understanding of ODOT design criteria, standards, and specifications
Excellent communication and organizational skills and enjoy working in a team environment
Desire and ability to build strong client relationships
The desire and ability to train entry-level engineers and interns
Maintenance of traffic design experience
Requirements:
Education, Experience & Licensure:
Prof. Ohio Engineering License
10 years' experience in roadway, highway, site, and utility design.
Technical Skills:
Traffic engineering experience.
Experience with Right of Way plan development
OpenRoads Designer and AutoCAD/Civil 3D exp.
Previous participation in local professional society functions
