Summary of Role:
The Principal Analyst Global Compliance & Reporting will be responsible for ensuring that the organization adheres to global compliance standards and accurately reports on financial incentives and recovery initiatives. This candidate will work across the organization to understand key business issues and devise actionable strategic recommendations with supporting financial analysis. This position will also serve as a critical pivot in advancing our global strategy for managing business information related to subsidy programs.
Essential Responsibilities:
Support R&D Financial Roll-ups and timely month/quarter closing. Includes coordinating and preparing accounting entries with a focus on timeliness and accuracy
Coordinate with various teams across GF to support Incentives & Recoveries in USA.
Act as the central figure in a global structure to ensure that all business information pertinent to subsidy programs is meticulously captured and integrated on a daily basis.
Develop and oversee a systematic approach to managing incentives data regarding GlobalFoundries' extensive business activities, ensuring organization and accessibility.
Foster a culture of efficiency by implementing practices that streamline the collection and use of business data, thus supporting a robust and precise financial infrastructure.
Collaborate with various GF Teams and Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to align business data management with global compliance requirements, reducing redundancy and optimizing workflow.
Monitor and enhance data processes to support the precise capture of information, aiding in the strategic management of subsidy programs and financial activities.
Other Responsibilities:
Perform all activities in a safe and responsible manner and support all Environmental, Health, Safety & Security requirements and programs.
Required Qualifications
Exceptional leadership and decision-making abilities.
Proficient in understanding resource allocation and fixed asset accounting.
Ability to think analytically, strategically, and execute effectively.
Expertise in subsidy programs management including tax credits, grants, and loans, with a strong grasp of related accounting and compliance protocols.
Demonstrated organizational prowess with the capability to manage complex accounting frameworks and detailed compliance records.
Proficient communication skills for effective collaboration with international teams, ensuring compliance and alignment of financial practices with global standards.
Skills
Education - Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
Experience - 3-4 Years in field, IFRS / US GAAP understanding, experience with external public company reporting preferred
Skills - Having a high skill in all Excel functions, Understanding and proficiency of use of financial systems and tools such as Oracle/SAP, Hyperion, PowerBI, Exposure to Anaplan Planning software preferred
Fluency in English Language - written & verbal
Expected Salary Range
$65,000.00 - $117,500.00
