Summary of Role:
mmWave test development engineer responsible for the development of hardware and software used to test the next generation of RF integrated circuits. The engineer will work with top circuit designers worldwide to understand their radar, satellite, 5G circuit test requirements and develop custom solutions to be able to test the circuit in a manufacturing environment.
Essential Responsibilities include:
Design RF Boards to interface with the mmWave test circuits and Test system
Use Cadence Allegro, Ansoft HFSS and ADS to design and simulate RF board circuits
Write code in the Java language on a commercial tester to execute the circuit test commands
Work with external circuit designers to understand and debug the test code and hardware
Other Responsibilities:
Perform all activities in a safe and responsible manner and support all Environmental, Health, Safety & Security requirements and programs.
Required Qualifications:
Education - Graduating with Master's or PhD in Electrical Engineering or related field from an accredited degree program.
Must have at least an overall 3.0 GPA and proven good academic standing.
Language Fluency - English (Written & Verbal)
Preferred Qualifications:
Prior related internship or co-op experience.
1-year hands on experience in RF circuit debug at the IC or board system level.
2 years' experience programming in C++, Java in a Linux environment and or windows environment
Demonstrated prior leadership experience in the workplace, school projects, competitions, etc.
Project management skills, i.e. the ability to innovate and execute on solutions that matter; the ability to navigate ambiguity.
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Strong planning & organizational skills

Expected Salary Range
$63,500.00 - $142,000.00
