The Powertrain Cooling Intern will asssist product development engineers working with customer (Ford / GM / VW) to benchmark competitor components (radiators - ICE and EV).
ESSENTIAL DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITIES:
Assist product development engineers in benchmarking competitor components (radiators - ICE and EV)
Submit and track DV/PV testing
Attend Customer meetings as required (Ford / GM / VW)
Order samples both internally and externally as needed
Maintain project folders with latest design releases
Facilitate the shipping of components between MAHLE locations
Support special assignments as needed (i.e. new resin validation)
Hybrid - 50/50, especially during school year
QUALIFICATIONS:
Major: Mechanical Engineering preferred. Other Engineering disciplines considered.
Class Standing: Prefer Jr. or Sr., but will consider Sophomors
Grade Point: 3.0 or above
Skills: Basic computer skills required
Experience: 1 Previous internship preferred
Interest in Thermal Dynamics
Self-driven individual capable of seeking out assignments
Ability and confidence to provide frequent status updates
Organize data in a clear and concise manner
Be able to work both independently and as part of project team
