Your Role:
The Mechanical Assembler will be responsible for the assembly and installation of mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic components with sheet metal frames and enclosures. It involves working with precision to ensure the proper integration of components into equipment manufactured by the SEMC (Semiconductor Equipment Manufacturing Center). This job includes activities such as penetration and component layout, drilling, cutting, and tapping on sheet metal, cutting, and bending stainless steel tubing, parts cleaning, mechanical finishing and labeling of systems during assembly. You will also work effectively in a fast-paced dynamic environment while following safety and process controls.
Lift up to 50 lbs. and transfer weight at waist height or knee height
Push/pull up to 300 lb. metal boxes on wheels
Stand and kneel on ergonomic mats over concrete
Step up on one step, lean over a tilting lift table
Utilizing full range of motion with arms and legs
Who You Are:
Minimum Qualifications:
High School Diploma or GED
Preferred Qualifications:
Trade/vocational school in a discipline such as Plumbing, Carpentry, Electronics, etc.
6+ months of experiencein a manufacturing environment performing mechanical assembly
Basic computer skills
High degree of motivation and initiative
Strong written and communication skills
Ability to succeed in a team or independently
