Your Role:
Play a key part in our company by joining the MilliporeSigma team as a Senior Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) Specialist. Your efforts to support EHS compliance activities in operations will help ensure we are operating in compliance with all federal, state, and company rules and regulations. Your expertise aids Site Management by helping prevent occupational injuries, illnesses, incidents, complying with safety environmental and occupational hygiene regulatory requirements, and implementing safety practices.
Who You Are
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in an EHS discipline (Occupational Health and Safety, Industrial Hygiene, etc.) or Scientific discipline (Environmental Science, Chemistry, etc.)
5+ years of work experience in EHS
Preferred Qualifications:
Master's Degree in an EHS discipline (Occupational Health and Safety, Industrial Hygiene, etc.) or Scientific discipline (Environmental Science, Chemistry, etc.)
Working knowledge of EHS, Safety, and Industrial Hygiene Standards
2+ years of Industrial Hygiene experience including assessments and remediation of hazards
CSP, CIH or other comparable certifications
Collaboratively foster management and employee participation
Ability to present to Senior Management and train employees
Excellent interpersonal communication, organizational, and computer skills
