Description Overview The Associate HR Generalist will provide general personnel service throughout plant functions at Perrigo Vermont. This person plays a key role in creating and maintaining positive employee relations within the organization. They will help foster a healthy and productive work environment, resolve conflicts, and ensure compliance with company policies and applicable employment laws. The Associate HR Generalist will be a trusted advisor to both employees and management, providing guidance and support in all matters related to employee relations. Additionally, this person will take on a variety of HR administrative duties. This position reports into the HR Business Partner. Scope of the Role Provides advice to employees and management on employee relations issues, including but not limited to, conflict resolution, corrective actions, and performance management. Partners and/or leads investigations, ensuring a fair and unbiased approach, maintaining clear documentation and strict confidentiality. Assists with HR projects and initiatives, such as employee engagement, diversity and inclusion programs, and wellness initiatives. Maintains employee personnel and medical files for 450+ employees ensuring information is accurate and up to date. Meets with new hires to review benefit enrollment process. Conducts benefits overview presentation during orientation. Manages and administers the employee recognition program. Performs HR administrative duties including but not limited to: Processing HR bills, temporary employee timecards, locker searches, employee birthday cards, sorting employee paychecks, bulletin board postings, filing paperwork, etc. Experience Required 2-4 year degree in human resources, business, or closely related field 3+ year of experience in an HR related role. Ability to maintain strict confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion. Attention to detail, communication skills, critical thinking, and time management. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and HR software systems.
