The Facilities Maintence Mechanic will demonstrate a high level of Facility Maintenance ability and critical thinking skills, and aptitude for solving complex problems while demanding integrity, sense of urgency, accountability and attention to detail.
Responsibilities
Perform assigned PMs and updates as needed
Perform all assigned work and record properly
Accurately reports results and problems to Facilities Supervisor in a timely manner.
Support maintenance activities to ensure quality, safety, and productivity objectives.
Visually inspect equipment at periodic intervals to detect malfunctions or need for repair, adjustment, or lubrication.
Perform basic carpentry, electrical, mechanical, plumbing, and associated work on plant facilities using hands and/or power tools as required.
Troubleshoot, repair, overhaul, test, modify, and maintain all types of electrical and mechanical equipment.
As required must have the ability to work alone and be able to lift to 50lbs. on a regular basis.
Able to oversee service technicians working on plant equipment or construction projects to ensure they are working in accordance with Renaissance Contractor Safety Guidelines
Performs duties in support of other trades during regular hours, and for scheduled overtime.
Read and interpret technical documents and diagrams
Interpret information furnished in written, oral, diagram, graph, or schematic form.
Troubleshoot, repair, overhaul, test, modify, and maintain all types of electrical and mechanical equipment.
Maintain current gown qualifications for cleanrooms.
Maintain current NJ High pressure black seal license or ability to obtain a NJ High pressure black seal license within a 1-year time in role.
Performs duties in support of other trades during regular hours and serves on an on-call basis for scheduled and emergency overtime.
Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
High school degree, with a minimum of 2-5 years of relevant mechanical, electrical, or HVAC experience; or equivalent combination of advanced education and experience. Experience in an aseptic/pharmaceutical manufacturing environment preferred.
