Hays Commercial Real Estate have partnered with a successful national developer, who are actively recruiting for an exciting opportunity within their New York portfolio for an Assistant Property Manager. The successful candidate will support two key office assets across Midtown.
Reporting into the Property Manager you will be responsible for supporting the management of day-to-day operations and financials across two properties, with a key focus on maintaining tenant and vendor relationships. With extensive capital work scheduled to take place across the properties, you will also have the opportunity to play an important role in managing these projects. Duties will include, but not limited to, conducting regular property inspections to ensure building standards are being met, assisting with annual budget and financial reporting, managing vendors, overseeing work orders, and ensuring regular contact with tenants to maintain strong relationships. You will also be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day duties of the onsite admin, security, and engineering staff.
What you'll need to succeed
• 2+ years experience of commercial property management experience, preferably in a class A office setting.
• Knowledge of commercial building operations and finances.
• Excellent time management, with the ability to multitask, prioritize, and problem solve.
• Detail orientated, with excellent communication skills (oral and written).
• Knowledge with Yardi, Microsoft Office.
