Summary
As our Associate Market Manager, you will play a key role in Fellowes' rapidly growing Air Quality Management (AQM) category working cross-functionally with various teams. This position will oversee the SoHo line of air purifiers, manage the complete line of AQM filters and accessories, and maintain product specification documentation and associated portals. This role is responsible for executing the marketing strategy, managing the assigned product portfolio, and ensuring the achievement of key performance indicators (KPIs) and business objectives. In addition, the Associate Market Manager will support various AQM initiatives as directed by the Sr. Global Market Manager.
In This Role, You Will…
Develop category expertise and utilize marketplace and consumer insights to create and execute marketing strategies and business plans to grow market shares and revenue within assigned categories.
Maintain and constantly update competitive analysis of key competitors' products across AQM categories and compare/contrast to Fellowes line. Work with Sales to develop and publish sell against narratives as requested.
Gather and help interpret customer/consumer insights to support the development and implementation of category strategies that grow profit and volume, including category direction, new product development and product entries into new segments, pricing and merchandising and distribution strategies. Use consumer research and market analysis to capture consumer insights, understand market trends and build competitive intelligence.
Partner with our sales organization and customers to expand product placement and develop marketing programs to drive demand.
Provide support in the creating, implementation, control and subsequent performance analysis of selling tools that support the annual marketing plan for our Air Treatment category. Lead the development and global roll-out of marketing campaigns, assets and content for your category.
Support the AQM Sr. Global Marketing Manager with product training of various sales teams and respond to product questions.
Manage new product introductions and create impactful commercialization programs and marketing content.
Support the planning and pre/post show execution of Marketing activities associated with industry tradeshows, working closely with Global Branding and Sales as needed.
Monitor your category KPI's and budgets and create initiatives to maximize performance and achieve our financial objectives.
Other projects relevant to achieving the business goals and improve efficiencies within the team.
What You Bring to the Team
Minimum of 3 years of experience in product marketing, marketing management, brand management, channel management or similar. Experience in the IAQ and/or HVAC industry as well as technical product/electromechanical product development/product marketing is preferred.
Expertise in managing multiple aspects of a product category, including integrated marketing channels, product launches, sales enablement, and financial performance.
Ability to demonstrate a blend of strategic insight and creative thinking, capable of identifying opportunities to innovate within the Air Quality Management (AQM) category. They should excel at generating fresh, forward-thinking ideas that align with business objectives, and possess the ability to transform these ideas into detailed, actionable plans.
This includes developing innovative product marketing/commercialization strategies, crafting unique customer engagement approaches, and finding creative solutions to market challenges. The candidate must be comfortable working in both conceptual and practical realms—able to envision bold new concepts and quickly pivot to execution, ensuring those ideas are effectively brought to life through clear action steps, project management, and collaboration with cross-functional teams.
A good understanding of market analysis methods, consumer insight research and competitive benchmarking.

Understanding of financial analysis and business principles, enabling them to make informed, data-driven decisions that contribute to the success of assigned categories. This includes the ability to interpret key financial metrics such as profit margins, cost structures, revenue growth, and ROI (Return on Investment) to evaluate product performance and marketing strategies effectively.
Ability to analyze sales data, market trends, and competitive landscapes to identify opportunities for optimization and revenue enhancement.
A bachelor's degree in marketing or related area
