Job Description:

TheSupervisor, Accounts Payableis a highly impactful role, working closely with key stakeholders across the business and Finance leadership. The role involves supporting key operational initiatives, delivering financial and business insights, and improving thetimely collection of the accounts payable process.

Responsibilities:

• Review and verify invoices for appropriate approval, coding, and accuracy.
• Process vendor invoices, expense reports, and payment requests in a timely manner.
• Match invoices with purchase orders and resolve any discrepancies.
• Prepare and perform check runs, electronic transfers, and payments.
• Maintain accurate and organized records of all accounts payable transactions.
• Respond to vendor inquiries and resolve billing/payment issues promptly.
• Assist in month-end closing by ensuring accounts payable tasks are completed.
• Maintain and update vendor records, including W-9 forms and payment terms.
• Assist with audits and provide supporting documentation as needed.
• Communicate with internal departments to ensure timely and accurate processing of invoices.
• Adhere to company policies and procedures related to financial operations
• Manage 1099 filling requirements

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent (Associate degree in Accounting or Finance preferred).

• Proven experience as an Accounts Payable Clerk or similar role: 3 to 5 years of experience.

Preferred Qualities & Qualifications:

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, and familiarity with accounting software.

• Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy.

• Excellent organizational and time management skills.

• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.

• Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines.

• Knowledge of general accounting principles and procedures.
