We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated treasury and tax professional looking to take the next step in their career. In this role, you will lead the treasury and tax functions and play a vital role in supporting the financial health of our organization, optimizing the capital structure & ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
Essential Functions, Duties, and Responsibilities
Treasury Management:
Oversee daily cash management activities, including cash flow forecasting, liquidity management, and short-term investments.
Manage relationships with banks and financial institutions, negotiating services, fees, and credit facilities to optimize financial resources.
Handle payment approvals and ensure proper segregation of duties between the AP team and treasury functions.
Monitor and manage the company's debt and credit facilities, ensuring compliance with debt covenants and optimizing capital structure.
Develop and implement risk management strategies, including FX hedging and interest rate risk mitigation.
Tax Management:
Monitor and ensure the company is compliant with all federal, state, and local tax requirements, including income tax, sales tax, property tax, and other applicable taxes.
Manage the relationship with the external tax accountant and support their preparation of tax returns; ensure tax returns are filed and paid in a timely manner and that documentation of such is retained.
Stay abreast of changes in tax legislation and assess their impact on the company.
Process Improvement and Automation:
Identify and lead advanced improvement opportunities to enhance efficiency, streamline workflows, and automate manual tasks within the treasury and tax function.
Leverage existing technology solutions and recommend new ones to drive process optimization, improve accuracy, and reduce cycle times.
Risk Management and Compliance:
Develop and maintain treasury and tax policies and procedures to ensure compliance with internal controls and regulatory requirements.
Continuously evaluate control effectiveness, identify areas for improvement, and implement enhancements to strengthen our control environment. Ensure adherence to established controls.
Stay informed of industry best practices and regulatory changes in both treasury and tax functions.

Educational and Experience Requirements
Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, economics, or related field; Advanced degree or certification (e.g., CPA, CTP) preferred.
5+ years of experience in treasury management, corporate finance, or tax management, with a strong understanding of both treasury and tax functions.
Proven experience in managing banking relationships, credit facilities, and tax compliance.
Proficiency in financial modeling tools.
Proficient use of SAP financial system preferred.
Advanced level knowledge of Microsoft Office software applications
