Position Purpose:
The Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS) Program Lead will be responsible for owning the Human Capital Management (HCM) and HRIS activities and systems on a global scale within a fast-paced environment. The HRIS Program Lead will also be responsible for quickly evaluating situations and ensuring the successful delivery of functional services to end users throughout the organization.
Essential Functions:
• Work with appropriate parties to coach, guide, and teach end users on appropriate actions within the company's HCM/HRIS systems.
• Quickly evaluate system related issues to independently provide proper guidance on next steps and solutions in accordance with company policies and procedures.
• Provide technical experience, support, and leadership for HCM/HRIS system implementations and upgrades.
• Translate business and functional requirements into a technical approach to provide solutions and suggestions.
• Lead solution design, prototyping, development, and deployment of reports, interfaces, conversions, extensions, and form customizations.
• Analyze and troubleshoot complex system and user issues to support and coordinate the resolution of issues.
• Perform configurations and integrations for system-to-system communication.
• Define, schedule, and maintain HCM/HRIS extract definition as needed.
• Create, manage, and support customizations and extensions made through standard framework.
• Work closely with Human Resources (HR) directors and the Vice President (VP) of HR to understand and proactively identify opportunities for the HCM/HRIS function to add value to the business.
• Develop and implement HCM/HRIS programs that support the overall mission and strategy of the company.
• Actively support corporate HR initiatives and participate in the development and implementation of these initiatives.
• Ensure training programs are developed to incorporate the needs of the HR team and end users as well as proactively identifying training needs to enforce proper use and concepts.
• Communicate regularly with applicable team members regarding ongoing and/or pending projects.
• Understand, support, and contribute to current company standards and goals by following policies and procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
Education and Training
• A bachelor's degree in a computer science or human resources related field is required.
• A master's degree in a related field is preferred.
• A Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is a bonus.
• A Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM) certification and/or Human Resources Certification Institute certification (HRCI) is a bonus.
Minimum Qualifications
• Five-eight years of relevant experience is required.
• Experience with software development tools and other technical tools such as structured query language (SQL).
• Knowledge of extract, transform, load (ETL) tools and techniques for the extraction, mapping, and troubleshooting of data.
• Practical skills in the use of standard HCM and business intelligence (BI) tools for data loading, reporting, and extracts.
• Understanding of core capabilities of HRIS/HCM workflow with the ability to triage and prioritize issues.
• Basic understanding of Fusion Fast Formula coding and compiling.
• General knowledge of the principles and practices of HR administration and techniques.
• Ability to work efficiently and effectively in a fast-paced environment.
