Matrix Providers is hiring a Clinical Pharmacist to join our team of talented professionals who provide health care services to our Military Service Members and their families at 377th MDG Medical Treatment Facility (MTF) in Albuquerque, NM!
Employment Status: Full-time
Compensation: Salaried position, paid bi-weekly.
Schedule: Monday - Friday. Shifts will normally be scheduled for an eight (8) hour period and no more than forty (40) hours per week, between 6:30 am and 5:30 pm

Requirements: Must have and meet the following:
Degree: Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D.).
Education: Graduate from a college or university accredited by the Accreditation Council on Pharmaceutical Education (ACPE).
Internship/Residency: Completion of a clinical pharmacy residency or fellowship accredited by the American Society of Health System Pharmacists or American College of Clinical Pharmacy or documentation of appropriate education, training, and/or CME in the practice of clinical pharmacy.
Experience:One year of professional pharmacy experience within the last two (2) years.
Licensure: Current, full, active, and unrestricted license to practice as a pharmacist.
Certificate: Basic Life Support (BLS) from American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
DEA registration is required.
Job Summary:
Perform a full range of pharmacist procedures
Deliver comprehensive pharmaceutical services within the facility's personnel, supply, and equipment capabilities.
Counsel patients regarding the appropriate use of medications.
Review patient profiles at the time of dispensing to monitor medication therapy closely.
Ensure prescription directions for use, dose, medication interactions, therapeutic duplications or overlaps, allergy information, age-specific dosage, and other pertinent data are appropriate for individual patients. Intervention with providers shall be made for noted discrepancies of the above-listed items.
Compound medications as required.
Ensure the accuracy of all pharmaceutical products prepared or processed by technical staff.
Supervise inventory control of all pharmaceuticals in the pharmacy, especially scheduled pharmaceuticals, and ensure pharmacy security. Maintain appropriate records and security of all scheduled controlled substances according to applicable regulations.
