Job Description:

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Kforce's client, a high-profile professional services firm located in Grand Rapids, MI, is looking for a Senior Accountant to work with Senior Leadership and high-profile clients.

Responsibilities include:

• The Senior Accountant will work with Director of Finance on month end responsibilities and reconciliations


• Maintaining banking relationships and leading accounts payable function working with Executive leaders on their high-profile clients


• Reconciling Accounts and wiring payments on behalf of clients


• Responding to accounting requests and providing progress updates


• Protecting and maintaining any highly sensitive, confidential, privileged, financial, and/or proprietary information


• Employee Credit Card Reimbursements

REQUIREMENTS:

• 5+ years of accounting experience preferably in a Professional Services environment


• Demonstrate well-developed, professional interpersonal skills, and the ability to interact effectively with people at all organizational levels of the firm


• Previous banking and international wire transfer experience


• Exhibit the ability to work in a team environment with a customer-service focus


• Able to work onsite 5 days a week in Grand Rapids

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
