Kforce has a client that is seeking a Business Systems Analyst in Waltham, MA.
Duties Include:
Business Systems Analyst will collaborate with business partners, cross-functional teams, and other IT teams, to gather detailed business requirements, focused on delivering enterprise data analytics solutions across various data platforms and other data sources (Workday, Data Warehouse, SQL/Oracle databases, applications integrated with Workday SIS, survey data, etc.)
Collaborate with business partners and the developers to translate business requirements into technical requirements to design data architecture objects and enterprise reporting objects (reports and dashboards)
Work across the organization to research and answer complex questions related to enterprise reporting solutions and other systems
Provide guidance and training to business stakeholders on business intelligence solutions specific to the project
Work with the Workday project team, data analytics team, data integration and data owners to complete data discovery and profiling to understand source systems and data movement throughout various systems
Coordinate and perform system testing to ensure requirements are met; Document test scenarios; Work closely with the project team during user acceptance testing (UAT) including tracking issues through to resolution and securing end-user acceptance signoff
As a Business Systems Analyst, you will troubleshoot problems, test, and work with businesses to resolve issues
Provide training, documentation, and support to business users
Leverage business knowledge and expertise to identify opportunities for data quality and business process improvements
REQUIREMENTS:
Workday student experience; Understanding of Workday student (this is for testing purposes)
Azure and Power BI
BSA skillset
Able to direct the conversation between tech and business team; Able to translate between
Ideally have experience working within Higher Education
Experience mapping requirements for data and process' for multiple systems
Able to speak the language and multiple groups-- business and technical
Data mapping and data definitions
Will not be creating the dashboards - someone else on the team will do this as well as build the pipelines; This BSA will come up with the specifications they put together for these dashboards
Not a super-fast-paced environment
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
