We are seeking an Accounts Payable Specialist to join a dynamic Finance team. This role will report to the Director of Finance and requires a strong understanding of accounts payable processes. The ideal candidate will possess excellent organizational skills and the ability to efficiently manage a high volume of transactions. Responsibilities will include supporting vendor relationships, processing invoices, managing payroll, and ensuring timely payments while maintaining compliance with company policies.
Key Responsibilities:
Review and verify invoices for accuracy and completeness.
Schedule and process payments through checks, ACH, or wire transfers, ensuring timely disbursements.
Communicate with vendors to resolve discrepancies and billing issues.
Reconcile accounts payable transactions and address any discrepancies between vendor statements and internal records.
Maintain organized records of all accounts payable transactions for audit purposes.
Ensure compliance with company policies and assist with audits as required.
Prepare and submit regular reports on accounts payable status, including aging reports and cash flow forecasts.
Process payroll as needed using the ADP Run platform.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
Associate's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; Bachelor's degree preferred.
2-3 years of experience in accounts payable or a related financial role.
Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
Experience with Concur is strongly preferred.
Experience with ERP systems is preferred.
Certification in Accounts Payable or related fields (e.g., AP Certification) is a plus.
