Support special operations forces by contributing to logistics and ground support systems that ensure the readiness and effectiveness of elite units. This role provides the chance to support high-priority missions, offering insights into the logistics and sustainment of critical defense operations.
Responsibilities:
Execute global transportation operations for personnel and equipment, coordinating with military and civilian aircraft.
Oversee loading, unloading, and preparation of cargo (rolling stock, containers, and palletized items) for air transport, ensuring timely mission timelines to prevent delays.
Inspect, store, and document Hazardous Materials, including ammunition, for global shipments via road, rail, air, and sea.
Process cargo in the Channel Airlift system and coordinate movements through various Air Force ports.
Provide training to unit members in cargo preparation and logistics for forward deployment roles.
Forecast, procure, and manage supplies for transportation needs, including 463L pallets, cargo nets, and straps.
Act as the command's main point of contact for commercial line-haul coordination and oversee the deployment of cargo/equipment for exercises and operational sustainment.
Manage funding and reconcile billing for government and commercial transportation costs in collaboration with Resource Managers.
Qualifications:
Clearance: Active TS/SCI Clearance.
Certifications: Forklift Certified (4k, 10k, All Terrain).
Experience:
Proficiency in 463L pallet and pallet train assembly and securing cargo.
Background in aircraft loading/offloading procedures and handling commercial line hauls.
