This is a part-time, non-benefited position. Only UND students are eligible to be hired in this position.
Free meal with every 3+ hour shift!
Duties & Responsibilities
Set-up the tables, lay table linens, chairs, silverware, centerpieces, glassware etc., as assigned
Attend to the guest's needs and requests.
Server must have knowledge on what food he or she is serving in the case of a guest asking.
Promptly bus dishes as guests complete each course and/or meal
Perform cleaning tasks and breakdown of service, including washing and putting away dishes
Maintain high standards of safety and cleanliness
Adhere to grooming and appearance standards
Maintain positive guest relations at all times.
Perform other duties as assigned
Provide exceptional customer service to our guests
Availability needed for weekends and evenings, flexible schedule can be arranged
Required Competencies
Must be able to work with the preparation and disposal of fish, poultry, beef, lamb, pork and other meat products in professional culinary commercial kitchen.
Must be able to adhere to all safety and sanitation policies which include removal of all jewelry and piercings except for a plain wedding band while working in our facilities.
Hairnets and beard restraints are a requirement in our food preparation areas
Incumbents should have an optimistic attitude, willingness to learn new skills, high degree of integrity, and a strong work ethic
Minimum Requirements
Able to stand on one's feet for 3 -4 hours.
Able to move up to 45 lbs.
Ability to follow instructions.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Must have a valid driver's license
