Salesforce - Practice Leader (Senior Principal or Director)




Who You Are



Slalom Consulting is looking for an experienced, entrepreneurial, and progressive leader to drive solution sales and delivery of configurable platform services with our clients in the PNW, primarily Seattle. The Salesforce Practice Leader will provide thought leadership to our enterprise and mid-market clients, set strategic direction for the practitioners, and generally be accountable for ensuring the overall quality execution of business and technology consulting across all engagements, with an emphasis on Salesforce.

What You'll Do



  • Lead and collaborate with practice leaders to drive sales, recruiting, account management, consulting, and operations while accountable for overall practice growth through business development, talent management, delivery oversight, and thought leadership.

  • Act as a domain specialist during business development across various clients and industries, identifying and pursuing new business opportunities leveraging emerging platforms.

  • Build and develop relationships with Salesforce and other partners and own joint sales pursuits.

  • Develop proposals, presentations, statements of work (SOW) and proactively recommend strategies to grow the practice presence in existing accounts.

  • Provide oversight and governance of Salesforceprojects in Seattle.

  • Manage project risk as it relates to planning and budgeting, handling accounts receivable, defining deliverable content, and ensuring agreement of proposed solutions from client executives.

  • Improve performance through an effective team-based approach that increases output and employee happiness.

  • Enhance Slalom's culture and be a leading example of our core values every day.

  • Provide thought leadership and ground-breaking recommendations on tools and technologies to the Slalom team and client partners.

  • Provide technical and architecture guidance as a mentor to junior team members.

  • Lead with a business-forward demeanor to drive quality work that improves competitive edge in the market.


What You'll Bring



  • 10+ years of leadership experience in a large consulting environment.

  • Functional understanding of Salesforce with demonstrated ability to architect solutions.

  • Experience growing client relationships and developing large programs at mid to enterprise-sized clients.

  • Strong business development skills with a proven track record of managing complex pursuits.

  • Experience proposing and leading cross-functionalengagements of teams with various technical and non-technical capabilities.

  • Expert at project delivery performing all aspects of program management and articulating a mature delivery methodology to clients and team members.

  • Skilled at managing multiple engagements at once.

  • Demonstrated experience meeting revenue quotas and utilization targets for self and team.

  • Understanding of key operational metrics utilized to run a successful professional services business.

  • Track record of being detail-oriented with a demonstrated ability to self-motivate and follow through on projects.

Compensation And Benefits

Slalom is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. For this position, we're targeting candidates at the Senior Principal to Director level; the base salary pay range is $173,000 to $255,000. In addition, individuals may be eligible for an annual discretionary bonus. Actual compensation will depend upon an individual's skills, experience, qualifications, location, and other relevant factors. The salary range is subject to change and may be modified at any time.
