Job Description Summary
The Ready-Mix Dispatcher works in a dynamic and fast-paced environment to fulfill the needs of customers throughout the Austin area. He or she answers the phone promptly with an accommodating tone of voice, takes the customer's order for ready-mixed concrete in a detailed, timely and professional manner, and records accurate delivery and product information on that order. This position reports directly to the Dispatch Manager.
Job Duties
Dispatch concrete mixer trucks to efficiently service customer jobs
Typical workday for the closing Dispatcher begins at 5:30am until the last load arrives at the jobsite (typically 5:30pm) but depending on workday could be much later)
Take and process customer orders for ready-mixed concrete accurately and efficiently.
Collaborate with QC, sales, and operations personnel to ensure effective delivery of concrete.
Organize and send requested reports and/or order information to customers and/or internal personnel
Schedule drivers for next days schedule using command concrete reporting software.

Requirements
Candidate must be energetic and customer friendly with the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
Strong computer skills including Microsoft Outlook, Word, & Excel
Phone skills including multi line systems
Demonstrate the ability to work independently, without direct supervision
Demonstrate good performance, safety and attendance
Demonstrate a willingness to work overtime
Demonstrates ability to work and communicate well with Supervisors, Dispatchers, Drivers and other employees
Demonstrate the ability to comply with government regulations and engage in Texas Materials safety culture
Education/Experience
Ready-mix industry or call center experience preferred but will train the right person
High school graduate or equivalent
Bilingual Preferred
