Job Description
University of Maryland Upper Chesapeake Health, a member of the University of Maryland Medical System (UMMS), has an opening available for a full-time BC/BE General Cardiologist. Training in echo, CT, nuclear is highly preferred.
Job Specifics:
• Upper Chesapeake Cardiology is comprised of 10 Cardiologists, seeking a 11th to meet growing volumes
• Well established practice serving the community for over 20 years
• Easy access to multiple tertiary care centers
• Primarily outpatient position with limited inpatient responsibilities, practicing in one hospital.
• Practice includes echocardiography, nuclear cardiology, device clinic, coronary CTA, and remote monitoring.
• Work/life balance supported by very manageable call schedule
• 24/7 in-house hospitalist/ intensivist coverage
• Willing to foster any special interests such cardio-oncology, sports cardiology, medical informatics, women's cardiology, etc.
• Excellent hospital administration support as well as in office support staff
• Position eligible for sign-on bonus and relocation support

Qualifications
Must possess current active medical license in the state of Maryland
Successful completion of residency or fellowship in the area of specialization
Board eligible or Board certified in area of specialization
