Nemours is seeking a Facilities Maintenance Supervisor to join our Nemours Children's Health team in Orlando, Florida.
This position is responsible for: Coordination, management, and supervision of maintenance staff for the maintenance of the assigned buildings and grounds to ensure a comfortable and safe environment for all occupants and visitors.
Manage facilities operations for buildings and grounds maintenance.
Complete and/or delegate daily work orders and monthly PMs to ensure timely completion.
Ensure that the property and facility is maintained in a manner designed to provide for the physical comfort and safety of associates, and visitors.
Enforce approved contracts related to the operations and maintenance of the facility.
Coordinate and work with vendors and contractors for maintenance, repairs, and upkeep of exterior and interior surfaces, and equipment maintenance and repairs.
Coordinate routine vehicle maintenance and repairs.
Ensure compliance with all applicable occupancy charters of the NFPA Life Safety Code, OSHA Codes, and all other applicable codes and regulations.
Coordinate with Facilities Manager in scheduling of Paid Time Off for staff.
Job Requirements
High School Diploma required.
Vocational Training Certificate for construction, electrical, plumbing, carpentry or HVAC preferred.
