Position Summary:
The Director, Learning & Development will report to the Senior Director, Talent Management & L&D in HR and play a key role in empowering our employees and leaders through innovative learning programs that foster professional development and enable high-performing teams. The Director will establish and execute a plan for the design, development and delivery of training programs, facilitate courses, and lead a team to ensure the development and delivery of training programs that address critical skill gaps.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Establish and oversee execution of L&D plan, including the delivery of learning programs and courses to build fluency and proficiency in behaviors and skills aligned to Inspiras core values.
Partner with business leaders and functions to identify, assess and prioritize learning needs. Translate needs into learning solutions.
Leadership development: design, deliver and facilitate leadership development programs to develop core competencies across all levels of leaders
Team effectiveness: design and facilitate team effectiveness workshops to enhance team performance and collaboration, leveraging DiSC, Social styles, StrengthFinders, or other assessments
Evaluation: evaluate the effectiveness of training programs and make continuous improvements.
Stay current with the latest trends and best practices in learning and development.
Facilitate courses and training workshops both in person and virtually, as needed.
Other duties as assigned.
Education & Experience:
5 to 7 years of experience in learning and development, HR, leadership development
Bachelors degree in HR, learning and development or similar field
Prefer certification in DiSC, Keirsey, StrengthFinders or other assessments
Skills & Abilities:
Experience with developing learning content for instructor led and e-learning
Strong leadership and effective communication skills that permit the clear and concise transfer of information to stakeholders
Strong attention to detail including error-free, superior proofreading
Ability to work well under pressure, prioritize and multi-task
Sense of humor, a positive outlook with a can-do attitude!
