The Residential Counselor position offers a unique opportunity to work in the Human Services field, supporting adults with mental health challenges who reside together in a community setting. Our dedicated residential staff plays a crucial role in empowering residents to achieve independence by enhancing their daily living skills, managing psychiatric symptoms, ensuring physical health, and overall improving their quality of life.
Located in Brockton, MA
Hourly rate: $17.50
Part Time Schedules Available:
-Fri 1pm - 9pm; Sat 9am - 5pm; Sun 9am - 3pm (22 hours)

Responsibilities:
Teaching Daily Living Skills: Provide instruction in essential skills such as cooking, budgeting, and social interaction.
Implementing Treatment Plans: Assist residents in achieving their goals through structured treatment plans and symptom management strategies.
Medication Administration (MAP): Administer medications according to prescribed schedules and document appropriately.
(Additional $500 Sign-on Bonus if currently MAP certified and valid for minimum of 90 days from start date!)
Transportation: Escort residents to medical appointments and community activities.
Record Keeping: Maintain accurate client records using electronic health record systems.

Must have a valid driver's license and safe driving record---access to a personal vehicle required at some sites
Required Experience
Previous experience working in the human services field, or completed coursework in Psychology, Social Work, or related field
CPR/FA and MAP certification will be required
BA/BS in Psychology or related field preferred
