Under limited supervision provides technical support in the configuration, maintenance, restoration and functions of all products deployed for a defined internal/external customer or account base.
Essential Functions
Serves as a central point of contact to consult and/or address specific technical and service-related problems with network infrastructure and deployed technologies.
Interfaces with customers to provide product information and instructions.
Supports the FedEx enterprise network, focusing on network infrastructure, PCs, FedEx-owned computer equipment, and hardware (such as printers and scan guns).
Troubleshoots wiring infrastructure and handles basic networking tasks, including understanding routers, switches, access points, and different types of cabling.
Provides guidance to less experienced co-workers and contract personnel.
Works with the West district team, adapting to time differences as needed.
Performs other duties as assigned
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Good communication and organizational skills.
Strong customer orientation and customer service skills.
Leadership and teamwork abilities, with experience in TSRI or TSRII roles.
Basic networking knowledge, including routers, switches, access points, and cabling types.
Ability to use a telephone, keyboard, and view a computer screen.
Field service experience and familiarity with color codes.
Must be able to interact effectively with customers and team members.
Job Conditions
Ability to lift 75 pounds.
Must be able to operate a vehicle in compliance with established procedures.
Location
Must be domiciled in Honolulu, Hawai'i, and able to at Oahu hub and travel around the Hawaiian region as needed.
Minimum Education
Associate Degree/equivalent in computer technology, information technology, computer engineering and/or equivalent formal training or work experience.
Minimum Experience
Four (4) year equivalent work experience in technology support environment.

Pay: Hourly Starting Pay Range: $28.25- 35.31/hr
