Our Production Facility in New Albany, Ohio is currently looking for a Sanitation Supervisor. In this role, you will directly manage our sanitation staff and inventory, ensuring that employees adhere to our SSOP as well as local and federal regulations. This role is essential to the health and success of our business, and you should take pride in the fact that the items we produce uphold the highest quality standards. We are looking for someone who can prevent issues before they affect production, so you should have a working knowledge of HAACP. You must be familiar with the safe application of disinfectants and other chemicals.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Oversee daily sanitation operations.
Schedule and train sanitation employees
Maintain inventory of disinfectant and other cleaning supplies
Keep documentation of the cleaning schedule
Update our SSOP (sanitation standard operating procedure) as needed
Conduct workplace audits to ensure compliance with FDA regulations and customer requirements
Assign the technical department to cleaning and sanitization validations, this may include taking micro, rinse, and product samples
Schedules quarterly production line cleaning requirements. Monitor building sewer discharge, ensure employees are following procedures, and recommend ways to improve discharge
Follow safety practices and cGMPs(good manufacturing practices)
REQUIREMENTS & QUALIFICATIONS:
High school diploma or GED certificate
Bachelor's degree (a plus)
Minimum 3 years experience in a manufacturing environment
1-3 years Supervisory/Management experience desired
Working knowledge of HAACP (hazard analysis and critical control points)
Communication skills
Basic computer skills
Physical Requirements:
Must be able to stand for long periodsof time
Must be able to lift upto 50 lbs.
Must be able to bend and climb frequently
