Position: Geotechnical Engineering Internship
Travel: Based out of York office, regular site visits (+/- 50%)
Anticipated Start Date: Monday 6/2/2025
Expected End Date: Friday 8/8/2025
We are currently looking for Interns pursuing a B.S. in Civil, Structural or Geotechnical Engineering to join our Wagman Heavy Civil team. Reporting to direct office supervision, the Intern will be assigned various tasks from management and work with the engineering team on the assigned projects. Tasks may include, but not limited to, reviewing drawings and specs, assisting in ordering of materials, tracking progress, submittals and RFI's, pile and tie-back load testing, and more. Walking on uneven surfaces, climbing ladders, and carrying up to thirty (30) pounds is a requirement. The ideal candidate should be able to take and follow instructions as well as be able to work independently and communicate effectively. This position works alongside the entire Project Team to support the completion of assigned construction projects and ensures all plans move forward to meet projected deadlines in a safe manner. This is a safety sensitive position requiring work on construction sites with various safety hazards inherent in heavy construction.
This position is subject to drug testing and compliance policies associated with our status as a Federal Contractor.
