We are seeking a Director of VA Programs to build, organize, grow and manage our diverse portfolio of projects at VA. The role is an executive position that has significant influence at ECS. This role will interact directly with the VA and ECS Leadership teams and help shape the strategic direction of the business. ECS has an extensive portfolio of work at VA with extensive growth on the horizon. This role will take an active role in shaping growth, building and leading teams, and engaging with clients to meet and exceed their needs.
Role Description
Growth minded leader who interfaces with customers to ensure quality delivery of contractual obligations.
Manage a portfolio of delivery teams and provide internal coordination with and utilization of internal program support functions to ensure efficient and effective project administration.
Deliver project support for VA client, providing advisory and subject matter expertise (SME) support to help clients meet project goals and missions.
Ability to analyze and manage portfolio of profit and loss and communicate findings and recommendations of financial analysis.
Provide leadership, mentoring, training, and coaching to program managers and task leads.
Actively lead and participate in interviews and onboarding of candidates.
Professionally represent ECS at client progress meetings and briefings and support day-to-day client relationships and communications.
Required Skills:
10+ Year's Relevant Leadership Experience
Bachelor's Degree.
Experience supporting the Department of Veteran's Affairs.
Ability to think strategically to effectively assess client and project team situation and assemble solutions to meet client and program team needs.
Ability lead and direct large and complex project teams.
Proficiency in relationship and management, communications, and business development.
Excellent written, verbal and presentation skills.
Ability to build and manage internal and external relationships at all levels within an organization while possessing diplomacy and cooperative style necessary to work effectively with diverse individuals across functional disciplines.
Desired Skills:
Federal management consulting experience.
Healthcare management consulting experience.
PMP Certification.
