We are seeking a driven and results-oriented ARPA-H Commercialization Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will play a vital part in transforming ARPA-H's cutting-edge biomedical program solutions and discoveries into successful commercial products and ventures. You will work closely with researchers, engineers, and business leaders to navigate the commercialization process, ensuring a smooth transition from the lab to the marketplace.
What you will do:
Serve as a commercialization specialist:
Evaluate the commercial potential of new technologies and intellectual property.
Conduct market research to identify target markets and customer needs.
Develop comprehensive commercialization plans, including market entry strategies, pricing models, and revenue projections.
Secure funding and investment opportunities for promising technologies.
Manage and negotiate licensing agreements and partnerships.
Track and analyze the success of commercialization efforts and recommend improvements.
Collaborate effectively within a diverse team:
Build strong relationships with computational scientists, engineers, and other scientific advisors involved in the program.
Communicate complex scientific concepts clearly and concisely to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Actively participate in brainstorming sessions and problem-solving exercises to drive the program forward.

Salary Range: $100,000-$180,000

Required - Intermediate
Ph.D. in Biophysics
Minimum of 7 years of experience in technology, research and business.
Demonstrably strong expertise in entrepreneurial business start-ups and experience with market research, financial analysis, product development, and/or supply chain management.
Background in technology, scientific research and engineering.
Demonstrated ability to conduct independent research, analyze data, and write scientific reports.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Strong work ethic and a passion for health care and scientific discovery.
U.S. citizenship or lawful permanent residency is required per contract.
Required - Advanced
Ph. D. Information Design and Technology
Minimum of 11 years of experience in technology/research and business.
Demonstrably strong expertise in entrepreneurial business start-ups and experience with market research, financial analysis, product development, and/or supply chain management.
Demonstrated ability to conduct independent research, analyze data, and write scientific reports.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Strong work ethic and a passion for health care and scientific discovery.
U.S. citizenship or lawful permanent residency is required per contract per contract.
Desired Skills:
Experience in design and user centered product development, engagement, and transition of health care solutions.
Three years or more experience within a Federal ARPA organization.
Two years or more experience in Federal health care and/or Scientific Consulting.
Experience supporting complex health care and programs of a research and development nature.
