Position: Financial Controls Analyst
Position Type: Contract (4 months)
Work Schedule: Hybrid (3 days in office)
Role Overview:
We are seeking a candidate to fill a backfill position and add two new roles within our Financial Controls team. While a CPA is preferred, it is not required.
Responsibilities:
- Consult with business lines and enterprise functions on financial reporting, IT governance, and control matters.
- Identify compliance and risk management requirements for the supported area.
- Provide oversight for testing and monitoring of moderate to complex control areas.
- Communicate and consult regularly with stakeholders across the enterprise.
- Implement, operate, and report on elements of the company's policy, governance, and oversight framework.
- Support the implementation of moderate to complex projects and initiatives.
- Collaborate with peers, colleagues, and managers to resolve issues and achieve goals.
- 4+ years of experience in Finance, Accounting, Analytics, Reporting, or Business and Technology Audit, or equivalent experience through work, training, military service, or education.
- Strong communication skills.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and Word.
- Excellent research skills.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Conduct detailed analysis of third-party financial statements, including Income Statement, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow Statements.
- Identify strengths, weaknesses, and potential risks in financial profiles.
- Clearly communicate findings to third-party relationship teams.
