Our client is seeking a dynamic Account Executive to join their team. The ideal candidate will have a background in 3PL transportation and a proven track record of managing client accounts in the freight industry. As an Account Executive, you will drive our business forward by building and maintaining relationships with clients, understanding their needs, and providing tailored transportation solutions.
This job will have the following responsibilities:
Client Relationship Management: Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and retention.
Sales and Business Development: Identify new business opportunities within the 3PL transportation industry and work towards expanding the company's client base.
Account Management: Oversee all aspects of account management, including contract negotiation, pricing strategies, and service delivery to meet clients' transportation needs.
Solution Development: Collaborate with internal teams to develop and present customized transportation solutions that meet clients' specific requirements.
Market Analysis: Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and market conditions to identify opportunities for growth and improvement
Reporting:** Prepare and present regular reports on account performance, market trends, and business development activities to senior management.
Qualifications & Requirements:
Bachelor's degree
Minimum of 2 years of experience in the 3PL transportation/freight industry, with a focus on business development
Understanding of 3PL transportation and logistics solutions.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
Ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Familiarity with CRM software and other relevant tools
