Job Description
Summary
Field Scientists have primary responsibility for the conduct of trials in accordance with GLP standards (where applicable) sponsor protocols and sound agronomic science.
Job Functions
Independently manage trials and work directly with client contact. Share field and office workload of individual's trials plus other team members' trials.
Conduct trials that are currently in progress in accordance with standards (GLP where applicable) sponsor protocols and guidelines, as well as sound science and SGS SOP's
Create, review and update SOP's as needed
Train Company Field Personnel Employees in all aspects of the job requirements.
Has contact with clients to update and communicate on all trials.
Interface with Sponsor Representative, Farm Cooperators, SGS Management, Study Director, and Quality Assurance during the active phase of trials.
Utilize software and hardware to record field research data according to protocol requirements.
Qualifications
Education and Experience
Associates Degree in Agronomy plus 2 years relevant experience (Required)
Must have Current Pesticide Applicator License if required by the residing state (Required)
Strong Agronomic understanding and interest. (Required)
Licenses and Certifications
Current Pesticide Applicator License
