Job Summary:
SMCI is looking for a Sales Finance Deal Support Manager who is responsible for taking the lead on driving our newly established deal qualification process and operations and providing cross-functional support to our sales, operations, compliance and driving Sales deal arrangement support. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in sales operations as well as finance/accounting. The ideal candidate should be able to build relationships and collaborate with various parties internally and externally to assist Sales team with compliance, and business deal related fact pattern, structure, risk assessment and deal qualification process.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
The Sales Finance Deal Support Manager helps maintain an efficient Quote-to-Cash process and facilitates the complex deal structures and requests that our clients demand. Its main responsibility is to review the Qualification checklists submitted by Sales per the Company's policy on Deal vetting and Compliance review that is maintained out of Revenue team at corporate.
Review all Qualification checklists for completeness and accuracies, ensure all key details are validated with proper support along with Sales Ops - GpuQual team.
Guide Sales team and conduct the Qualification Committee deal review, to ensure final review consensus whether to approve, reject, or send the deal arrangement back for additional information gathering to re-review. Target purpose to ensure all restricted GPU transactions will meet respective compliance requirements from Supermicro and from our key supplier in accordance with US Trade Restriction rules.
Advise, coach, and train Sales reps daily to drive efficiency and rigor in our commercial deal qualification process.
Work with the Sales team and engage directly with customers or vendors as necessary to accelerate deals closing where applicable.
Act as the main communicator working centrally with our key supplier's solution managers to ensure smooth and accurate compliance review process is maintained to help expedite timely support of GPU allocations.
Partner closely with cross-functional teams in this endeavor such as sales, legal, tax and other business functions to structure deals for new and existing business models.
Support company deal qualification process by diligently working with Sales, and Global Trade Compliance to ensure continuous training and knowledges are properly attained by respective Sales members to ensure compliance with the Company's deal qualification process as well as GTC trade documentation package process.
Help refine and evolve the Company's deal qualification, quote and other operational processes including assessing existing processes, identifying underlying issues and driving improvements. Actively participate in brainstorming on the OTC system automation and process enhancements
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Business Administration, Finance or Accounting
8 + years of relevant professional experience in sales finance, deal desk, order to cash and commercial processes, contract, or order form management.
Strong background in deal desk and sales operations at a large tech company
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work in a demanding environment and quickly adapt to changing needs and priorities.
Salary Range
$107,000 - $127,000
The salary offered will depend on several factors, including your location, level, education, training, specific skills, years of experience, and comparison to other employees already in this role. In addition to a comprehensive benefits package, candidates may be eligible for other forms of compensation, such as participation in bonus and equity award programs.
