Job Description



  • Sampling including cell count and metabolite analysis

  • Validate and run cell-based assays independently

  • Prepare solutions and culture media

  • Maintain records and test results following good documentation practices (GDP)

  • Assess analytical result data on acceptability using Excel workbook, LIMS or other computer software

  • Work independently and efficiently

  • Communicate effectively with co-workers and client staff members

  • The right candidate will have the opportunity to expand into HPLC/UPLC work

Additional Preferences:


  • Experience with Mammalian Cell Culture techniques

  • Strong computer, scientific, and organizational skills

  • Excellent communication (oral and written) and attention to detail

  • Experience in a cGMP regulated environment

  • Ability to learn new techniques, perform multiple tasks simultaneously, keep accurate records, follow instructions, and comply with company policies


  • Scientist Group Lead responsibilities are in addition to technical lab responsibilities and include, but are not limited to, the following

  • Ensure adherence to highest quality and efficiency standards in laboratory operations

  • Ensure coverage and performance

Qualifications



  • Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Biology, or other related science, with 2+ years molecular laboratory experience

  • Laboratory experience including aseptic and cell culture techniques
