RESPONSIBILITIES:

Kforce's client in Boston, MA is seeking an experienced Financial Reporting Manager to join their team.

Summary:
The Financial Reporting Manager is responsible for complex financial transactions according to GAAP, preparing technical accounting memos, ensuring accurate and timely financial statements including footnotes, managing external audits and owning other reporting requirements. This role will also be involved in system implementations, process improvement compliance.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance; MBA preferred


• CPA designation preferred


• 5+ years of technical accounting experience (straight public or a combination of public accounting and private experience)


• Strong attention to detail, organizational, decision making and problem-solving skills


• Software proficiency - Microsoft Office products, accounting software experience, Great Plains, NetSuite preferred


• Time management skills able to multitask projects and meet critical deadlines


• Technical knowledge of accounting principles and research


• Communication skills - verbal and written skills should be accurate with reporting, presenting to leadership and stockholders

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
