Job Description:

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Kforce has a client in Dallas, TX that is seeking a 5G Core Enginner who will assist developing and implementing an all new mobility core network (5G Core) as defined by 3GPP 5G Stand Alone architecture. This team supports several core 5G elements including UDM/AUSF, PCF, BSF, NEF, SCP, and SEPP.

Overview:

• Developing and testing MOPs (Method of Procedures) in lab or production environments


• Support First Field Applications (FFA) software implementations


• Working in collaboration with various teams and platform owners

Breakdown:

• 40% MOP, lab testing, and technical documentation


• 20% Network Automation, Administrative & Training


• 20% Outage management and root cause analysis


• 20% Collaborating with Labs staff members, Engineering, Operations, Project Mgmt on various projects in flight

REQUIREMENTS:

• 10+ years of combined experience designing, implementing and/or troubleshooting Mobility Evolved Packet Core (EPC) and associated service flows


• 5+ years of combined experience designing, implementing and/or troubleshooting in Cloud Architecture


• 5+ years of equipment and software vendor management experience (HPE 4G HSS & HPE 5G UDM)


• 3+ years of Kubernetes experience


• Experience with D1, D1.5 and D2 network principles


• AON/Azure Operator Nexus experience preferred

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
