Job Description:

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Kforce has a client in Jacksonville, FL that is seeking an experienced Information Security Manager to join their team and lead their information security initiatives within the healthcare sector. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in managing security protocols, risk assessments, and compliance efforts specifically tailored to the healthcare industry. This role is critical in safeguarding our sensitive patient data and ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement information security policies, protocols, and procedures to protect sensitive healthcare data


• Conduct risk assessments and audits to identify vulnerabilities and ensure compliance with HIPAA and other relevant regulations


• Lead the response to security incidents, including investigation, mitigation, and reporting


• Collaborate with IT and other departments to integrate security best practices into the organization's technology and operational strategies


• Provide training and awareness programs for staff to promote a culture of security within the organization


• Stay current with industry trends, threats, and regulatory changes to proactively adapt security strategies


• Manage third-party vendor risk assessments and ensure compliance with security standards


• Prepare and present security reports to senior management, highlighting risks and recommended actions

REQUIREMENTS:

• To be considered for this position, candidates must have experience in a similar role, or they must possess significant knowledge, experience, and abilities to successfully perform the responsibilities listed


• Relevant education and/or training will be considered a plus

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
