Be part of an operation that focuses on the sustainment and modernization of tactical aircraft, ensuring they remain ready and capable. This facility is a cornerstone of aerospace maintenance and support, providing essential services to enhance military aircraft's operational life and capabilities.
Responsibilities:
Develop clear and detailed aircraft work instructions to support maintenance, modifications, and repairs, ensuring optimal operational performance and alignment with technical requirements.
Interpret and translate structural and mechanical engineering blueprints and technical documents into concise work instructions for maintenance teams, covering structural, electrical, avionics, and general maintenance tasks.
Draft detailed instructions that may include parts fabrication requirements, equipment, tooling, materials, and labor estimates.
Lead collaborative review sessions with Operations, Engineering, Quality, and Customer stakeholders to obtain necessary approvals.
Incorporate approved changes from stakeholders and update referenced technical data accordingly.
Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor's Degree with 6+ years of relevant work experience, or Master's Degree with 4+ years of relevant work experience.
Experience:
Background in process planning, including 2-4 years of structures experience.
2-4 years of computer operations experience.
Skills: Proven experience interpreting and writing technical documentation related to aircraft maintenance and repair.
