Job DescriptionCentralia college is creating a pool of qualified applicants to teach transfer level anatomy and physiology courses to freshmen and sophomores on a part-time basis. The college's need for part-time instructors varies from quarter to quarter.
The college offers both on-campus and online courses. An on-campus assignment requires face-to-face instruction two to four days a week, Monday through Thursday, in Centralia, WA. Online assignments are typically taught asynchronously, and the college uses the Canvas learning management system. Additional in-person opportunities may be available at the college's satellite campus in Morton, WA, or within correctional and juvenile detention facilities in our area. Applicants must reside in Washington State.
Duties and ResponsibilitiesAnatomy and physiology instructors teach both lectures and labs. The current need is for asynchronous online lectures with a face-to-face evening lab on-campus in Centralia, WA.
Qualifications Master's or higher degree in Biology or closely related fieldCentralia College faculty are represented by the Centralia College Federation of Teachers, Local No. 4469, AFT/AAFL-CIO.
Adjunct employment is ongoing and filled based on need. Applications will be screened as they are received.
COMPENSATION:
Current lecture/lab rates ($963.57 - $1,401.40 per credit)
