Lecturer (SEM) Department of Civil, Environmental and Geodetic Engineering College of Engineering
Position Overview The Department of Civil, Environmental and Geodetic Engineering is accepting applications for Semester Lecturer appointment(s) (temporary position; less than 30hrs a week) to teach undergraduate and/or graduate course(s) in the Department of Civil, Environmental and Geodetic Engineering for Fall/Spring/Summer semester. Hours will vary, pending course(s) available. Duties include but are not limited to: holding office hours; grading assignments and submitting grades; may participate in curriculum development and course coordination. All courses are taught in person on the University's main campus in Columbus, Ohio.

Education and Experience Requirements Required
Master's degree or equivalent
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Strong interpersonal skills

Experience teaching in a learning setting including, but not limited to, K-12 classroom experience or higher education teaching as an instructor of record or graduate teaching assistant.

The CEGE department at Ohio State is a cohesive unit of recognized leaders in professional and academic circles who are dedicated to educating tomorrow's leaders.
