Location/Division Specific Information
Located at one of the largest Thermo Fisher Scientific offices in Greenville NC, you will be in the heart of our $2.5B contract drug manufacturing division.
How will you make an impact?
Partner with key leaders at the Greenville campus to streamline business process and automate non-value add activities, striving for value from systems in use. Your knowledge of pharmaceutical manufacturing and quality processes will inform step-wise improvements.
What will you do?
Provide knowledge and direction to colleagues solving problems and improving processes
Align Greenville process with division or corporate requirements, with an emphasis on common process across the division
Own the development of requirements for new requests
Collaborate with Business Parter and Site leadership on prioritization of incoming initiatives
Support key initiatives on site or in partnership with other sites
Become a trusted resource that improves life for colleagues on site every day
How will you get here?
Education
Bachelor's or Master's degree in a technical field or equivalent work experience.
Experience
5-7 years driving process improvement in a large enterprise, preferably with pharmaceutical experience
Proven experience in managing and delivering technical and process projects
Experience IT business systems like SAP, Open Text or Kinaxis
Professional certification in area of expertise like APICS, PMI a plus
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills required, including a thorough understanding of how to interpret business needs and translate them into application and operational requirements
Demonstrated ability to quickly learn systems and tools
Excellent leadership and interpersonal relationship skills that promote collaboration and transparency across the organization as well as with customer teams
Project execution or management experience, experience working in a PMO framework
Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities and meet required dates
Travel: The role will require minimal travel, estimated at 5-10%.
