2nd Shift - Sanitation Lead at Menasha Packaging in Springfield, Illinois

Job Description:

Essential Functions

• Enforce the policies and procedures surrounding the food safety and hygiene


• Examines all manufacturing equipment to ensure that it meets all sanitary standards.


• Sanitation Lead Responsibilities:


• Manage and oversee cleaning and sanitation operations in the facility to insure proper


• Execution of sanitation activities


• Maintain the master sanitation schedule


• Train sanitation workers on an ongoing basis and document all training processes and procedures properly


• Monitor the mixing and use of chemicals to prevent misuse and hazards to personnel and property


• Coordinate and execute cleaning or area cleaning with team of sanitation and maintenance.


• Keeps detailed records of all sanitation-related activities and issues, such as inspections and violations, also noting how and when each situation was resolved


• Complete comprehensive evaluation of sanitation processes and practices and provide feedback to Sanitation Supervisor for improvements or modifications


• Ensure successful passing score on SQF and customers Audit.


• Other duties as assigned.

Education/Certification

• High school diploma or equivalent
