Job Details:
The Product Manager (PM) is a key contributor to the overall brand and product management team, responsible for leading cross functional teams in planning, execution and analysis of various business initiatives. The PM role is a general management role with P&L responsibility and includes development of strategic business plans to achieve corporate and brand volume, profit and share objectives.
This role is specific to managing Retail Value Added Poultry (RVAP) private label business.
Other responsibilities include:
• Lead private label RFP and Bid process with key customers.
• Lead private label strategy development and execution including contract negotiations, strategic pricing decisions.
• Monitor performance measurements to ensure business is tracking against goals - recommends and implements corrective actions.
• Analyze data to identify insights and translate into business initiatives and/or actionable tasks to drive results.
• Lead Inventory reporting and action plans to manage to demand.
• Coordinate quality cuttings and actions to align product attributes to customer expectations.
• Manage monthly volume forecast for assigned categories, coordinating between demand and supply planning to deliver best-in-class forecast accuracy.
• Support development of business objectives and marketing plans for assigned categories, reflecting overall corporate goals.
REQUIREMENTS:
EDUCATION: An MBA or equivalent education/experience is required.
EXPERIENCE: A minimum 4 years of relevant marketing experience is required
SPECIAL SKILLS (if applicable):
• Demonstrated strong analytical and strategic thinking skills are required.
• Strong communication and presentation skills are required.
• Strong collaborator with a demonstrated ability to lead cross functional teams.
• Proven ability to effectively manage multiple projects in a dynamic environment is
required.
• Experience with Nielsen and/or IRI is preferred
• Participation in tasting and input within quality cuttings (meat products).
