OVERVIEW:

This role would entail management of the personnel, projects and activities for the ACR Computed Tomography and Magnetic Resonance Imaging Accreditation Programs. The Accreditation team is a dynamic, engaged team that processes the accreditation applications and testing materials and provides technical expertise for facilities applying for ACR Accreditation. The ACR is looking for someone with managerial experience, excellent verbal and written communication skills as well as accreditation experience and extensive computer experience.

RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE:


  • Determining work goals, objectives and standards to be achieved by staff

  • Maintain excellent and engaged team dynamics

  • Reviews and prepares reports, writes articles and other documents that assist facilities in achieving accreditation

  • Participates in the development of specifications and maintenance of the accreditation software system

  • Staffs ACR committees

  • Assists in budget development and projections as related to accreditation

  • Acts as a liaison both internally and externally

  • Reviews policies and procedures and updates and/or makes recommendations for change to management

QUALIFIED CANDIDATES WILL POSSESS THE FOLLOWING SKILLS:


  • Bachelor's degree required; Masters preferred

  • Current registered technologist in an advanced imaging modality

  • 10+ years of related experience

    • 3+ years of managerial experience or equivalent



  • Competent with Microsoft Word, Excel and other Office software

  • Organizational and analytical skills

  • Ability to clearly communicate ideas and solutions

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, including presentation skills

  • Ability to work as a part of a team and individually

ACR is committed to a total rewards compensation philosophy that includes base salary in addition to our full suite of comprehensive benefits (https://www.acr.org/-/media/ACR/NOINDEX/HR/ACR-Benefits-Overview.pdf).  ACR’s goal is to pay competitively and equitably.  It is typical for individuals to be hired in the entry to middle of the range for their role, and compensation decisions depend on each case’s circumstances.  A reasonable estimate of the annual compensation range for this position is $106,400 – $149,000.
