Portfolio Analyst - Financials at The Judge Group Inc. in Fort Worth, Texas

Description: Our client is currently seeking a Portfolio Analyst - Financials
*This is a hybrid and W2 only opportunity!**


This job will have the following responsibilities:

• Provide financial and data analysis support across the Cybersecurity organization.


• Gain a detailed understanding of annual and monthly financial processes related to budget, forecast, and spend.


• Become familiar with the capabilities provided within the Cybersecurity organization and the vendors and services required to deliver them.


• Process requisitions and invoices, ensuring correct coding within the procurement system for management approval.


• Track monthly renewals and periodic payments to ensure renewal deadlines and timely payments to vendors.


• Coordinate with finance for month-end close, accruals, reclasses, and monthly forecasts.


• Review monthly cloud and hosting charges, analyze significant changes, validate against planned changes, and correct any errors.


• Design and complete complex financial analyses for business cases or ad hoc leadership support.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience in finance, accounting, or computer science; related college degree preferred.
  
  


• Expert knowledge of MS Excel, including pivot tables and vlookups.
  
  


• Strong analytical and organizational skills; experience with budgeting, procurement, and accounting.
  
  


• Strong aptitude for problem-solving.
  
  


• Self-motivated and able to work independently on given assignments.
  
  


• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written; able to communicate effectively with multiple management layers and across a broad base of users.
  
  


• Ability to concisely present work.
  
  


• Effective organization and planning skills.
  
  


• Good understanding of enterprise business processes; knowledge of business unit functions and cross-group relationships.
  
  

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with financial systems and heavy Excel analyses (3+ years).
