Position Summary
Under close supervision, supports assigned finance area with various operational and administrative tasks. Responds to inquiries from Employees, general management, outside vendors, policyholders, and agents.
Duties and Responsibilities
Performs basic policy accounting concepts, practices, and procedures, and corrects errors.
Handles finance related various inquiries of basic complexity, acting as a liaison between Employees, agents, vendors, or outside companies to resolve problems.
Performs various administrative and clerical duties, including opening, sorting, and distributing mail, and filing. Assists with the implementation of new or revised programs or procedures.
Assists in screening paperwork for accuracy and completeness. Enters and maintains data in finance and vendor systems. Prepares and maintains corresponding files. Assists with running, modifying and/or distributing corresponding reports.
Tracks and follows regulatory requirements for SOX, taxes, privacy, and other applicable laws.
Completes special projects as required. Performs other duties as required.

Minimum Educational Requirements
High school diploma, or equivalent required.
Additional Experience
Experience in a finance environment preferred.
Working knowledge of processing and spreadsheet software required.
Experience with ERIE's management software preferred.
