Job Description:
The role will oversee one of several architecture domains including Business Architecture, Information
System Architecture and Technology Architecture. The successful candidate will also be able to collaborate
with and work across related areas such as Technology, Data, Security (including Identity and Access
Management), related business capabilities such as E2E Planning, WMS, OMS, PLM, Logistics, Financial
Systems, Data Warehouse and Data Lake.
What are we looking for?
• 10 to 15 years working with SAP ERP and Satellite Systems (Edge) technologies.
• Hands-on enterprise architecture experience leading and providing solutions to large and complex IT environments.
• Support Cross segment large business transformation programs as a part of Enterprise Architecture Team
• Ensure Enterprise Architecture principles and guidelines are adopted across SAP and Non-SAP Technology Stacks
• Support Extensibility, Clean Core, Micro Services and Composable Architecture discussions and arrive at the best possible design.
• Work with SAP and other Product vendors to understand product Roadmaps and work with internal business Transformation Teams of Technical Stack enhancements.
• Review and enhance best practices to meet fast-changing technology improvements and business requirements.
• Provide guidance to Business Integrator (BI) and Systems Integrator (SI) teams regarding Process Governance, Enterprise tools like Signavio, SAP Solutions Manager, SAP CALM, Rev-Trac, Datasphere, One Lake, LeanIX, ServiceNow and Salesforce
What will be your key responsibilities?
- System architecture: Define and implement the Edge System Architecture roadmap for Mars Petcare Digital
Transformation; leverage the best-in-class solutions to solve business requirements and technology challenges
- Ensure Edge System Architecture follows the best practices from a functional and technical point of view, limiting
technology choices to Enterprise and Segment Standards
- Provide Enterprise and Segment specific as well as outside-in perspectives to support architecture roadmap and
decisions
People Leadership:
- Stakeholder management: partner with Architects and Process Owners, engage and influence technical, regional and
global teams, and be able to challenge the status quo
- Build effective team: create a strong organization capable to design, build and deploy the best architecture for the
business requirements
- Coach and mentor other architects, designers, modelers and other technical resources
Change management:
- Contribute to architecture documentation and development of artifacts in enterprise tools and systems
- Support roll out Industrialization by providing the roadmaps, transition models, technical strategies and processes
- Contribute to ARB and other Architecture Assessment and Governance processes
Operational excellence:
- Architecture: Manage and influence the technical design, dependencies, and SAP S/4 HANA Interface to Edge System
with the goal of accelerating time to market and minimizing total cost of ownership.
- Technology Roadmap: Develop Technology roadmaps and standards for the enterprise, work with service and
Implementation teams responsible in multiple domains and sub-domains to get them enforced and maintained.
SAP S/4 HANA and Edge Systems:
- Develop and maintain an adequate understanding of enterprise architecture goals, segment strategies, industry trends
and divisional needs
- Develop and maintain an adequate understanding of business processes enabled by SAP S/4 Lead to Cash, Plan to Fulfill,
Source to Pay, Finance systems across divisions and regions
- Ensure the compliance of the defined technology strategy & model with enterprise/segment standards and best
practices
- Define edge system transformation plan according to the defined Program Transformation plan
- Manage the execution of edge system architecture to improve cost efficiency, security compliance and scalable support
models.
- Engage multiple stakeholders concurrently and meet various Segment/Divisional architecture objectives
- Integrating products and services required to meet various Segment and Divisional needs
