Job Description:

What will you do?

• Under general supervision performs repetitive assembly, building, and production activities where work is with hand tools to assemble basic electrical units

  ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
  

  
  
  
  
  • Read and understand unit diagrams, drawings, and specs to assemble electrical units accurately
  
  
  • Accurately test and troubleshoot unit prior to sending to QC for final inspection
  
  
  • Participate in general housekeeping (5S) duties within work area
  
  
  • Performs general preventative maintenance tasks on area equipment as needed
  
  
  • Cross-train and rotate through various stations within department as needed to provide additional support
  
  
  • Conduct on-the-job training for newly hired and/or transferred employees
  
  
  • Report material and equipment problems to appropriate personnel
  
  
  • Participate in meetings to resolve production issues and interface with other shifts and support groups as needed
  
  
  
  

• High School Diploma or GED required
