The Marketing & Digital Content Strategist is responsible for creating and developing content strategies, overseeing the company's social media presence, managing the company website, and creating engaging visual content. This role integrates content creation, multimedia design, and web management to support marketing efforts, enhance sales support, and supports internal communications. Additionally, the Marketing & Digital Content Strategist leads digital marketing initiatives, drives cross-channel content optimization, and collaborates across departments to align the company's branding and messaging strategies
• Develop and execute comprehensive content strategies aligned with both short-term and long-term
marketing goals, ensuring content is engaging, relevant, and optimized for target audiences.
• Write, edit, and publish high-quality content across various platforms, including blogs, articles, web
pages, email campaigns, and white papers.
• Oversee and manage the company’s social media channels, including content scheduling, community
engagement, performance tracking, and the development of paid social media advertising campaigns.
• Implement and refine SEO best practices across all digital platforms, optimizing content for search
engines to improve organic search rankings and increase website traffic.
• Maintain and manage the company website, including updates to content, layout, and functionality.
Ensure site performance is regularly monitored, implementing enhancements as needed to improve user
experience, SEO, and accessibility.
• Lead the design and production of marketing collateral, including brochures, digital ads, email templates,
presentations, infographics, and multimedia assets, ensuring alignment with brand guidelines and
marketing goals.
• Drive multimedia content creation (graphics, videos, animations) for use in marketing campaigns, social
media posts, sales presentations, and internal communications.
• Collaborate closely with the Sales Support Manager, sales teams, and product managers to create
content that addresses customer pain points, supports lead generation, and enhances the customer
journey.
• Act as the liaison between marketing, sales, and internal departments to ensure that the company's
branding and messaging are consistent across all platforms and communications.
• Lead cross-functional initiatives with the product and analytics teams to refine content based on
performance metrics and customer behavior data.
• Develop, manage, and optimize email marketing campaigns, incorporating A/B testing to drive
engagement and conversion rates.
• Establish and manage a digital content calendar, ensuring alignment with key marketing and sales
initiatives.
• Conduct regular performance reporting on website analytics, social media engagement, SEO
performance, and campaign ROI, presenting actionable insights to senior leadership.
• Stay ahead of digital marketing trends, identifying and recommending new tools, platforms, or tactics to
improve brand visibility, engagement, and conversions.
• Oversee vendor relationships for outsourced content creation, design, or web development projects,
ensuring high-quality output and on-time delivery.
• Train and mentor junior marketing team members and interns, providing guidance on content creation,
design, and digital marketing best practices.
Knowledge Skills, and Abilities
• Excellent writing and editing skills, with a keen eye for detail, storytelling, and SEO optimization.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, balancing both strategic oversight and hands-on
content creation.
• Creative mindset with a strong understanding of digital marketing trends, multimedia design principles,
and content strategy.
• Experience with data analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, SEMrush) to measure and optimize content
performance.
• Expertise in graphic design, video editing, and web management software (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite,
Premiere, Final Cut Pro, WordPress, HubSpot).
• Strong leadership skills with experience in managing vendor relationships, cross-functional collaboration,
and project management.
• Proficiency in graphic design software (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite), video editing tools (e.g., Adobe
Premiere, Final Cut Pro), and web management platforms (e.g., WebFlow, WordPress)
Education & Experience
• Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, graphic design, multimedia arts, or a related field
required. 1 year of relevant experience may be substituted for each year of education required.
• Minimum of 4-6 years' experience in digital marketing, content creation, social media management,
graphic design, or website management. B2B experience and knowledge of industry-specific marketing
strategies is preferred.
• Experience with data analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, SEMrush) to measure and optimize content
performance.

Covenant’s compensation philosophy’s intent is to use a competitive total compensation strategy to determine the current market value of a position while also considering individual factors such as performance in current position, time in seat of current position, experience, level of responsibility/accountability, and longevity with the company. The system will be objective and non-discriminatory.
Pay Range: $49,650-$77,916
Pay Grade: 8
